This duo may not be my absolute favorite characters, but my favorite couple is Elena and Stefan. They’re just so sweet together! They may have major communication issues sometimes, but they mesh. But if Katherine and Damon had a real relationship then they would be my favorite couple for sure. All dark and twisty. I find that I’m liking dark and twisty a little more.
“It’s difficult to believe in yourself, because the idea of self is an artificial construction. You are, in fact, part of the glorious oneness of the universe. Everything beautiful in the world is within you. No one really feels self confident deep down because it’s an artificial idea. Really, people aren’t that worried about what you’re doing or what you’re saying, so you can drift around the world relatively anonymously. You must not feel persecuted and examined. Liberate yourself from that idea that people are watching you.”—Russell Brand <3 (via lionessmess)
SWEET CAROLINE! I absolutely hated her guts in season one. She was whiny, self-centered, a bimbo, etc. But now she’s a vampire and she’s kind of really good at kicking butt. I love butt kickers. And she’s really sweet too; evident when she was helping Tyler.
Haha, I know who’s not my favorite character. That’s Elena, trying to be a martyr and whatnot. Lady just sit back and let them boys take care of el jefe.
Someone made a point that TVD isn’t airing again until April. So BAM!
My favorite character? I have to choose one? Well, obviously, it’s between Damon and Stefan. But I have to chose Stefan. Damon’s a bad boy, has dark hair, blue eyes, tall, you get the point, but Stefan’s a good kid. Good always wins right? But Damon can be just as good as Stefan right? They’re both just darn lovable. Oooh, but then there’s Caroline. I used to hate her guts, but now she’s a vampire and the shizznits. … … … … IT’S STEFAN (for now).
Disclaimer- I never finish challenges, so this is to say that I’ll probably miss about a dozen of these. :o)
I think the only factors that I liked were Number Six, the dog, and Henri. Altogether, the movie was alright. I was expecting more action and bombs and stuff, but it was mostly just about a young alien trying to find his place on Earth. Nothing new if you ask all of the other teen aliens on Earth. And then there was Sarah, played by Dianna Agron, who I felt kind of weighed John (Number Four) down. But she was there to make him realize important morals and whatnot. I think they should have fallen in love, done their business, and then leave each other in name of saving the planet. AND THEN THERE WAS THAT DOG! I think it would have been funny if the dog stayed as a lizard, but it wouldn’t cause any sympathy as it gets hurt. Like it gets pummeled as a humongous beaver-dog-pinacosaurus and shrinks back into a wimpy green lizard? Yeah, doesn’t really make me teary eyed. But at least it didn’t die like Sam! Oh Sam (her death totally made me teary eyed). Then there was Henri who did die. :( He was the bomb and cute for an old guy. Finally, there’s Number Six who saved the movie! Teresa Palmer plays Number Six and I saw an interview of her with CRAIG FERGUSON and I didn’t connect the two until later on. But her awkward pause with Fergyferg earned her extra brownie points in my book. And they let her keep her awesome Adelaide accent. Did I mention the big fight scene was based at school? I think basing it in the woods would have been better. And the beginning section of that kind of played out weird because the Mogs came and Sarah and John ran away to the school so they could mash up and get all gushy. Was that really needed? And it was predictable because OF COURSE Sarah would be at a party where she obviously doesn’t want to be at so that her ex-boyfriend of a jerk would call the cops and then run into the Mogs so that he could tell them where they’re at because he had “a feeling”. But I did like that they planned out the ending so that there could be a possible sequel. But there are around six other aliens and that would mean six sequels? I really hope not. I think it would have been more successful if it were a summer movie though. Anywhoo, I say skip the movie and watch it when it comes out in DVD. Unless, you’re a die-hard Alex Pettyfer or Dianna Agron fan.
I’ve figured it out! Whenever I’m sick, I eat a lot. Like a lot. None of that “Ohh, I’m sick. I’m not hungry” stuff. I’m like “GIVE ME FOOD!”. And I’ve realized it’s because my taste buds aren’t acting the same and I eat a whole bunch until I can taste stuff! But I usually never do and just eat anyway. WIN!
Yeah. Haven’t been to the gym for what seems like a really long time. I think it’s only been a couple of days. But I did squats and backward and cross lunges last night which has made my butt uber sore. I’ll either be running to school and back (equals to 2 miles) or laying on the couch and eating bread. Oh dear.
My brain has officially turned into goo. I’ve been hopping back and forth between Youtube, cwtv.com, & Hulu all stinking day. I can’t even count how many episodes I’ve watched today. But I can count how many animal crackers and pistachios I’ve eaten.
